Hello Working World!

... yep, that's right, Amy Farris has exited the realm of unemployment/bummin' around (finally, right?! ). I'm going to be working as a teachers aide in a Pre-K classroom at Evergreen Christian School 3 days a week between now and when I leave to head back to Senegal. It's a good thing too, cause there is only so much 'Starbucks-ing'/ going to Haggens just to kill time left in me-- it's definitely time for a little structure in my life.

Yesterday I met my kids for the first time. There are 15 of them (5 girls, 10 boys), and they are absolutely adorable (obviously!- it's hard to find 4 and 5 year olds who aren't, right?). So, back to school I go. Time to brush up on my alphabet, colors and numbers!
